Croatia - Osnovna skola Marcana

Primary school Marčana has classes range from 1st (6/7 years) to 8th class (13/14 years). We have 27 teachers and 10 members of staff. Our school at this moment participate in Erasmus+ project that ends in August 2020. So we would like to promote school image, municipality of Marčana and develop language and social skills among pupils and teachers also. As one of main goals of this project is multimedia and video editing our teachers are very confident and motivated to work with others partners in this project. 

All teachers that are included in running Erasmus+ project are skilled in ICT and interpersonal communication and creativity. Our teachers have obligation through their subject they teach to promote democratic way of thinking and developing culture of good dialogue. Science teachers have several different projects that they carry out through entire year. We had project called "Classroom in forest" and our school carry this project so far. All other teachers also participate in all activities that are related to science subjects. Our school every year participate in many competitions such as robotics league, Arduino project and pupils are very active in programming languages. School has art club. Children create stuff made from clay and ceramics. Art teacher and children are very involved in art activities, and in school are exhibitions with their works in different techniques.
